10/13/2023 0 Comments Bear paw succulent rotting![]() ![]() I water it about once a week on Sundays (or a day or two after that if I forget) / whenever the soil feels dry (I stick my finger in the dirt, away from the roots, to check).Īlso, it has this lean? I read it could be stretching for light, but I don’t think that’s quite the case because I have it sitting on my windowsill for light. ![]() Also, I haven’t noticed any falling leaves (besides the one or two that fall out every now and then), spots, or unhealthy coloration anywhere else. They’re all green, plump, furry and healthy looking leaves. ![]() So I was thinking maybe it’s just the plant maturing/aging because the brown stems are the original stems and the growths coming from it are green. Its stem is quite firm and durable feeling, with a woody texture. I’ve read it could be rot (which I really hope its not) because I accidentally made a rookie mistake and planted it into a nondraining pot (which I plan on fixing when I re pot)! I also have doubts that it could be rot because the stem is not mushy, in fact, it’s quite the opposite. I’ve had this bear’s paw plant for about a year (okay, like 8 months), and I’ve been planning on repotting it soon and was hoping for some tips! I’ve noticed a brown+light brown stem on my plant, and started worrying about it because it was green when I originally bought it. Hey there! ran across your blog the other day looking for succulent care tips! :) ![]()
